Leroy B Long

Leroy graduated from Upper Perk in 1948, and he joined the US Navy in 1950. He  served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954. His service spanned service aboard the USS Wasp, an aircraft carrier where he served as a hydaulics mechanic for 2 years, to service in the Blimp service. He crossed the equator on 20 Oct 1953 and left the service in 1954. He was a life long VFW member as a post member of Post 5954.
