John F. McGrath

John F. McGrath, a lifelong resident of Warrington, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his residence. He was 67. John was the loving husband of Kathleen McGrath. Born in Philadelphia, John was a son of the late John F. and Dolores McGrath. John was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Air Force where he was a fuel system specialist. John enjoyed playing Billiards and driving his pride and joy, his blue Mustang. In addition to his wife, John is survived by two daughters, Monica “Muk” McGrath (Justin Koerner) and Colleen McGrath, a brother Timothy Hoff and 2 sisters Elizabeth Peterson and Kathleen McGrath. He is also survived by nephews Jarek and Jesse Peterson and many Doyle family nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his boxer Sandy May. John’s memorial service celebrating his life will be at 11:00 am Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be held privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
