John Snyder

John W. Snyder, 89 years, of Allentown, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Clara S. (Moyer) Snyder. Born in Sumneytown, he was a son of the late Adam and Sarah Snyder. He was employed as a sewing machine operator for many years. John was a member of VFW Post 5954 and Veterans Home Assoc. both of Red Hill. He honorably served his country in the Army during WWII. Survivors: Sisters, Grace Lugar of Johnstown, Martine Hersh of Frederick, Jean Bair of Williston, VT, and Sarah Benner of Tucson, AZ; brother, Samuel Snyder of Frederick; and nieces and nephews.

John was a WWII Veteran and a past Post Commander of the Upper Perkiomen Valley VFW Post 5954.

John is buried at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown PA. 1740 Airport Rd. 610-266-1600.
