Eugene L. Cressman, 77, of Third Street, East Greenville, died Sept. 17. He was the husband of Catherine Kitty (Kotch) Cressman. They were married 56 years last November. Born in Line Lexington, he was a son of the late Linford and Anna (Rosenberger) Cressman. He was a letter carrier in East Greenville for 30 years retiring in 1988. After that, he was employed by Scottys, Pennsburg. He began his career as a machinist for U.S. Axle, Pottstown. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg, where he was a former president of the Holy Name Society. He was a life member of both the American Legion Post 184, Palm and the Owls Nest 1392, East Greenville. He was a member of East Greenville Fire Company. Survivors: Wife; son, Thomas and his wife, Diane, of Quakertown; daughters, Louise, wife of Ray Bartlett, of Millville, JoAnna Stauffer, fiancee of Michael Wetzel, of East Greenville and Juliana, wife of Scott Mohr, of Pennsburg; brothers, Gerald and his wife, Judi, of Red Hill and Bruce and his wife, Shirley, of Pennsburg; sisters, Doris, wife of Franklin Renninger, of East Greenville, Hazel Beard of Red Hill and Mary, wife of James Hunsberger of Souderton; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Services: funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
