PRIVATE, SOLOMON HALLMAN

ARMY (Civil War) 1862-1863

Solomon Hallman was born 26 June 1833. He died 19 March 1925. Solomon never saw action, but was in the service 1862-1863. In 1876 he built a house in Old Zionsville. In later years he received a government pension, and lived in Palm with his son, Percival, and his wife Sallie. He died in Palm at the age of 91. 

Solomon is the Great Great Grandfather of Bryon and Michael Hallman. 

Solomon is burried at Upper Milford Evangellcal cemetery.
