James A. Daub

James A. Daub, 79, of Hatfield, died Saturday, October 21, 2023.  He was the husband of the late Linda (Haines) Daub, who died February 21, 2013.

Born June 16, 1944 in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Russell and Grace (Moore) Daub.

Mr. Daub was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was then employed as a civilian aircraft mechanic for over 35 years, retiring in 1999.  

Jim was a member of the Hatfield American Legion Post 933, and his hobbies included fishing, motorcycles, and target shooting.

Survivors include his daughters, Kimberly L. Daub (Gerald K. Steele) of Chalfont, and Shannon D. Hitchcock (Mark) of Collegeville; two grandchildren, Ian and Rebecca Hitchcock; brother, Theodore Daub (Margie) of Emmaus; and his companion, Kelly Kopp, of Hatfield, and their devoted dog, Sadie.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. November 1 ,2023 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
