John E. Mansfield

John served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1961 to 1966. “John enlisted in the Marine Corps at age 17 after high school graduation in Michigan. He was trained as a Ground Radio Technician and served in the 1st Marine Division and for a brief period with 1st Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division in Detroit. John was released from active duty in 1966”.
