Douglas L. Clemmer

Douglas was Drafted in April 1968. He completed Basic Training at Ft. Bragg,N.C. Having previous construction experience he was sent to the 548 Engineer Battalion at Ft. Bragg. In June 1969 he received orders for Vietnam. He was assigned to the 815 Engineers in Pleiku, RVN in the Central Highlands. His main mission was the paving of Highway QL-14 North to Kontum. He was discharged upon his return to the USA at Ft. Lewis,Wash in April 1970.
