Mark McCarty, age 61, of Sellersville, passed away on February 18, 2022, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. He was the loving husband of Janice A. (Hickman) McCarty with whom he shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Abington, he was a son of he the late Justice McCarty.
He graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in 1978. Mark worked as a R&D Technician for Kulicke & Soffa Industries for over 30 years.
Mark proudly served in the United States Army. He was a social member for the Forrest Lodge VFW in Sellersville and former fire fighter and EMT.
Mark was a jokester and loved to have a good time. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his Harley Davidsons and working on them, and spending time with his nine dogs. He loved bird feeders and practicing Shotokan Karate.
Surviving along with his wife are children, Jason Hogan, Rebekah McCarty and Mark McCarty, Jr., grandchildren, Jolean, Jason, Jr., and Quinn, and siblings Michael, Donna, and Jane. He was predeceased by granddaughter River.
You are invited to visit with Mark’s family and friends on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 PM, at the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. His memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM. A wake will be held immediately following the memorial service at Forrest Lodge VFW, 2118 Old Bethlehem Pike, Sellersville, PA 18960. Interment will be private.
