Donald Treffinger
Donald Treffinger, 94, of Green Lane passed away on Thursday, July 21st, 2022. He was the beloved spouse of Illo (Smith) Treffinger. Born in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Floyd and Verna (Kirkpatrick) Treffinger. Donald served our country honorably in the Army. After the Army, he owned and operated Treffinger Brother's Masonry. Following that, he worked for Nester Brothers where he worked until retirement. He was a member of the Palm American Legion # 184 and the VFW Post 5954.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Sharon, wife of Alvin Schultz of Emmaus, and Wendy Adam of Pennsburg; "step-children, James (Rick) Krupp and Susan Sharrow, his grandchildren and great- grandchildren; and remaining siblings: Betty Althouse, Floyd Treffinger, Edward Treffinger, and David Treffinger & his wife, Dyana. He is predeceased by a daughter: Peggy; and his siblings: Kenneth, Marie, and his twin Richard.
A joint Graveside Service for Donald and Illo Treffinger of Green Lane will be on Wednesday, August 17th at 11 AM at the New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville. Military Honors will be observed. All are invited.

Illo Viola Treffinger
Illo Viola Treffinger, 84, of Green Lane, passed away July 24, 2022. She was the widow of Donald Treffinger, who passed three days earlier. Born in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Franklin & Viola (Freed) Smith. Illo was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and was employed for many years in the Shipping Department of the former Brown Printing Company, East Greenville. Illo was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW # 5954, Red Hill.
Surviving are her children: James (Rick) Krupp, of Pennsburg and Susan Sharrow, of Palm; her step-daughters: Sharon, wife of Alvin Schultz of Emmaus, and Wendy Adam of Pennsburg; and her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
