Dave proudly served in the U.S Army.Dave enjoyed eating at Cousins II in Lehighton. His favorite was a nice juicy steak with a Hienkon. Picture I’m sending his other favorite a crab cake with hienkon. But nothing beat his all time favorite home made sauce with meatballs by his friend Barb.
He enjoyed doing his HAMM radio communication. His favorite activity was POTA (parks on the air). He would visit different parks and enter contests for the number of contacts during a specific time frame. He would speak to people all over the world.
Dave along with Barb had a love of raising Dachshund’s. This breed is very stubborn but as loyal as can be to their humans.Pictures attached.
He loved to visit Las Vegas just vacationing there 6/25. He talked about going back later in the year. It’s his favorite vacation spot and hoped to someday live out there.
Dave was in the Army. He did some college which I believe was aviation. He traveled around the world twice being stationed in Greece, Korea and Germany to name a few. He could speak a little Korean. His last post was in GA. Dave often spoke of how the Army was a long term commitment for him but things happened and his Army career was cut short. He was very proud to serve his country!
Other than enjoying life, spending time with his fur babies and Barb and her family Dave would do anything to help someone. He was always willing to jump in and help his friends.
Dave will be missed by us all!! Dave is burried at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
