Leone Alberino

Born in Paterson, he has resided in Hawthorne for fifty-nine years. He proudly served his country during World War II serving in the U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a proud member of V.F.W. Post # 1593 in Hawthorne. Alberino was a Past Exalted Ruler of Paterson Elks Lodge # 60 and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hawthorne. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church in Hawthorne. Before retiring he was the Owner of The Leone Real Estate & Insurance Agency in Hawthorne. He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Lucy C. (nee Cipolletti) Leone of Hawthorne. He is also surviving a loving daughter Florence Leone, PhD. of Hawthorne and a loving son Al Leone of Hawthorne. There are two dear grandchildren, Jeremy Gussoni and Susan Rivchin surviving. Alberino was predeceased by his dear grandson Joshua Rivchin. Funeral Mass Friday at 9:30 am at St Anthony's RC Church Hawthorne.(Procession leaving Browning-Forshay at 9:00 am) Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
